Okinawa entrepreneur shops Grand Marketplace

We are happy to announce the opening of Zhyvago Coffee Works Okinawa, owned by Kentaro who spent a lot of time in Portland and in Grand Marketplace as a source of inspiration for his coffee shop in Japan. With his keen eye for design and American craftmanship, Kentaro has created an attractive atmosphere for customers to enjoy his coffee.  To celebrate his success we are sharing a little story and a few photos of his new shop.  Congratulations Kentaro from all your friends at Grand Marketplace!

This story direct from his website:  Kentaro traveled to Portland Oregon in the fall of 2014 for the search of his theme. There were solid culture such as “do it yourself” spirit, mutual aid, and localism which was happening all generations. There was a strong passion in each person`s mind. They followed their own will with appreciation and love.Through the journey, Kentaro had figured out his theme which is to create a coffee stand with new concept.  http://zhyvago-okinawa.com/english/
