3 Dots & A Dash joins Grand Marketplace

We caught up with Cheryl and Heather Morrill, the mother & daughter team that just joined as a new vendor at Grand Marketplace. They offered to share this short story about their business to help us get to know them a little better.
3 Dots & a Dash, Inc. opened its doors in December 2014 in an attempt to share our creativity and enthusiasm for bringing old treasures back to life. What once was an endlessly fun hobby for us has become our family business Always wanting to work together, the three dots (the 3 Morrill girls) & our DASH (Mr.Gray), decided to bring our own styles together and create a welcoming home furnishing store that embraces our love for unique décor.
1.) How long have you been in the business and how did you get started?
We opened up our Hawthorne Blvd location Dec 2014
2.) What or who inspires you?
Seeing the beauty in a piece of rundown & tired furniture that needs to be brought back to it’s former glory.
3.) What is the most exciting or memorable thing you have ever found while shopping?
I set of French Provincial bedroom set inscribed with; Happy Birthday Oct 1914 on each piece
4.) What are you most excited about showcasing this month?
We have a beautiful primitive Mail Sorter that I LOVE
5.) What is the one thing you have found that you will never sell (at least for now)?
A stunning 1890’s writing desk. It’s my favorite piece of furniture in my office.
6.) What is one thing we don’t know about you?
We all have other careers but our first experience in owning & running a retail location.
